Just over a year after the release of his Adidas signature shoe, Washington Wizards star John Wall is a sneaker free agent… for the time being.

According to the Washington Post, Wall’s contract with Adidas quietly expired on Sept. 30… and hasn’t been renewed.

So, what’s his next move? The NBA All-Star says he’s letting him team deal with it.

“My main focus is just play basketball. I let my agents and marketing team and them negotiate and talk,” Wall told the Post. “I’m just trying to focus on the season and not worry about what’s going on off the court and play basketball.”

Wall signed a signed a five-year, $25 million deal with Reebok before being drafted by the Wizards in 2010. In the third year of the deal, he joined Adidas for the remaining two years, where he released his first signature shoe, the J Wall 1.

During practice, Wall has been sporting Nike, but continues to wear his Adidas signatures during games.

Stay tuned…
