Kodak offers a bit of nostalgia … but with a twist, via the announcement of a new Super 8 camera.
The brand hooked up with San Francisco designer Yves Behar for the return of the Super 8, which shoots in both digital and on film. It also boasts upgrades such as an integrated microphone, digital viewfinder, and USB cable and SD slots for maximum connectivity.
Keeping the old school, users can create both digital copies or view their 8mm film through a projector using Kodak film cartridges.
The Kodak Super 8 will be available black or white, with pricing expected to be in the $400 to $750 range. A release is due in the fall.
